10 years, it has been since we had proved to work better than DEET. To this day the data that proves we are superior to 10 % DEET and other Natural ….They cannot compare, they do not use anywhere near 10% essential oils and the variety of different oils.
Every insect has an oil that it dislikes, one cannot make a claim to certain bugs an all regions unless they have all the right oils!

15% Picaridin provides about 6 to 8 hours of protection
Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus provides about 2 to 5 hours of protection. And insect repellents with other natural ingredients usually provide less protection.
